Installing A Phoenix Soundsystem
In An Aristocraft RDC

This is an overview of the underside of the RDC. Remove the box cover marked "SOUND BOX".

NOTE: There is no need to remove the blister on top. It houses the already installed speaker.

Rather than go through the back wall as recommended by Phoenix, I went through the end nearest the trucks for the volume control. It's easy to reach while the RDC is moving so you can adjust volume on the fly.

This is an overview of the actual install of the sound system. It's about as plug and play as it gets.

This is a closeup of the installation. Red and green wires go to pins 1&2 for power. The two black wires go to pins 7&8 for the speaker, and the volume control goes to pins 4,5&6.

I did not install the optional port for computer hookup on this car. I would most likely mounted it on the opposite side of the box from the volume control.
